Boeing 747-100

N736PA

Dragon Wings

1:400

Jorge A. Zajia

Remarks:

Ship 11, N736PA "Clipper Victor." Briefly renamed "Clipper Young America" on January 22, 2970 to conduct the first ever commercial 747 flight (JFK-LHR) when N733PA (original Clipper Young America) went tech. Also, it was the first hijacked 747 on August 2, 1970. Unfortunately, the aircraft is most well known for having been involved in what today still is the worst aviation accident in terms of number of deaths, when another 747, KLM's PH-BUF, collided with it at Tenerife-Los Rodeos (TFN) while taking off in low visibility conditions on March 27, 1977.
